Hand bath:
Recipe: Jingjie (Herba Schizonepetae) 15 g, Fangfeng (Radix Ledebouriellae) 15g, Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) 30 g, Zhimu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae) l0 g, Baixianpi (Cortex Dictamni Radicis) 20 g, Kushen (Radix Sophorae) 30 g, Difuzi (Fructus Kochiae) 20g, Dafengzi (Semen Hydnocapi) 15 g, Gancao (Licorice) l0 g, and Chantui (Periostracum Cicadae) 10 g.
Function: To resolve dampness, clear heat pathogen, expel wind pathogen, and stop itching.
Method of manipulation: These herbs are wrapped in gauze and boiled in an adequate amount of water to prepare a hot decoction for steaming and then washing both hands for 30 minutes. When the decoction cools, the boiled water may be added for further steaming and washing manipulation, and the hand bath may be applied two to three times a day.
