Golden Mirror of the Medical Tradition
Yi zong jin jian, an imperial compilation by Wu Qian et al. , was presented to the throne in January 1743. Wu was an Administrative Assistant in the Imperial Academy of Medicine. The Golden Mirror is a collection of 15 textbooks, simply written and largely composed of mnemonics to aid memorization.It is one of the most comprehensive and practical of such compilations.
