Hepatitis is a serious disease that affects the liver and can cause long-term damage, which is causes by infection by a virus and is characterized by fever, poor appetite, jaundice, hepatomegaly. Some acute cases can not be cured and become chronic one with persistent and recurrent liver injury. In TCM works, hepatitis refers to the jaundice and hypochondriac pain, which is treated with herbs for clearing dampness and heat. And activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis.
Treatment
1. Sanyinjiao (SP6)
100 ug vitamin B12 is injected into the point on one side for acute icterohepatitis, once daily.
2. Ganshu (BL18)
The point is injected with 2 ml injecta of radix isatidis and 1 ml vitamin B12.
The point can be also pricked with three edged needle and applied with cupping, causing bleeding at volume of 10-20 ml, which is applied 1-2 times a week for 7-10 times before remarkable improvement.
Note
Single point therapy is mainly for hepatitis A instead of hepatitis B/C.
