The main manifestations of the chronic enteritis are discontinuous abdominal pain, abdominal distension, abdominal pain and diarrhea; these symptoms attack easily by catching cold, eating fatty food, or the fluctuating of mood or overworking. The manifestations include the increased bowel movements which are several times or more than ten times a day, tenesmus sensation in the anus, difficult defecation. The symptoms fir the sudden onset of the chronic enteritis include fever, abdominal colic, nausea, vomiting, urgent watery stools or within the blood and pus, assuming a chronic consuming state, lusterless complexion, lassitude, tiredness, aversion to cold and preferring to warm; during the period of acute inflammation, besides fever, other symptoms include dehydration, oxidosis or shock with bleeding, long-term abdominal discomfort or dull pain in the lower abdomen; the examination are mainly taken on the abdomen, navel around or the lower abdomen and the symptoms of the light tenderness, bowel sound, hyperfunction and archoptoma. Periphery blood examination: Increased leucocyte and erythrocyte and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate can be seen in the routine blood examination.
The routine stool test: Abnormal, a little leucocyte and erythrocyte or a little pyocyte can be seen. The pathogenic bacteria can be found if the disease is caused by the bacterial infection.
