1) Codonopsis Pilosula, Astragalus Mongholicus and Pullus Cum Osse Nigro Soup (Shen Qi Wuji Tang)
INGREDIENTS:
Codonopsis Pilosula, 15g
Radix Astragali (Huangqi), 15g
Radix Notoginseng (Sanqi), 10g
Silky fowl (remove sebum), a quarter
Ginger, 2 slices
PROCESS: Stew them for eating. It can supplement vacuity, support right and eliminate phlegm. It’s applicable to patients with weak qi and blood in the recovery stage.

2) Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root Gruel (Fangfeng Zhou)
INGREDIENTS:
Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng) Root, 10-15g
Stem of Fistular Onion Stalk 
Polished round-grained rice, 30-60g
PROCESS: Decoct the first two ingredients into water, take the decoction and remove the dregs, make polished round-grained rice into gruel, add decoction and boil into thin gruel, take it with warm. It can dispel wind, resolve the exterior and eliminate cold. It’s applicable to facial paralysis due to wind-cold assailing the collaterals and sore muscles.

3) Drink of Ginger Sugar and Perilla Leaf (Jiangtang Suye Yin)
INGREDIENTS:
Perilla Leaf, 3-6g
Ginger, 3g
Brown sugar, 15g
PROCESS: Soak them in the boiling water for 5-10 minutes. It has the effect of dispelling wind, eliminating cold and resolving the exterior. It’s applicable to syndromes due to external contraction of wind evil.

4) Stew Fish Head with Ligusticum Wallichii and Radix Angelicae (Chuanxiong Baizhi Dun Yutou)
INGREDIENTS:
Ligusticum Wallichii, 3-9g
Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), 3-9g
Bighead carp head, 500g
Green onion, black pepper, ginger and salt(right amount)
PROCESS: Boil all the above ingredients into water over a strong fire until it is boiling, then stew over a slow fire for half an hour, take it in the morning and in the evening, the fish can be eaten and the soup can be drunk. It can dispel wind and eliminate cold, promote blood circulation and remove obstruction, indicated for facial paralysis due to external contraction of wind evil.

5) Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae Gruel (Dazao Zhou)
INGREDIENTS
Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae, 30g
Polished round-grained rice, 100g
Crystal sugar, right amount
PROCESS: Boil all the above ingredients into gruel. It can supplement qi and nourish the blood. It’s applicable to patients with facial paralysis, short breath and weakness.

6) Ginger, Lycium and Lotus Paste Soup (Shen Gou Lianrong Tang)
INGREDIENTS
White ginger, 2g
Fructus Lycii (Gouqizi), 2g
Raisin, 2g
Lotus seed meat, 2g
Rhizoma Dioscoreae (Shanyao), 2g
Lotus paste, 12g
Fructus Cannabi, 12g
Exocarpium citri Rubrum, 3g
Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae, 2
Walnut meat, 2
PROCESS: Decoct all the above ingredients into water, take the decoction for oral administration 2-3 times. It has the effect of tonifying middle-jiao and qi, nourishing liver and tonify kidney-yin.

7) Peppermint Sweet (Bohe Tang)
INGREDIENTS:
Peppermint powder, 30g
White sugar, 500g
PROCESS: Add the white sugar into a pot, then add right amount of water, boil over a slow fire into thick syrup, then add peppermint powder to stir evenly until the syrup is not sticky. This recipe has the effect of dispelling wind and clearing heat, resolving the exterior with coolness and acridity. It’s indicated for syndromes of sudden facial paralysis, eyelid dysraphism, dry throat and thirst.
