1) Gruel of Dandelion
Ingredients: Dandelion 60g, honeysuckle 30g, polished round-grained rice 50-100g.
Process: Decoct the first two ingredients in water and get the decoction by removing the dregs; add in the rice to cook for the gruel.
It is helpful to clear away heat and dispel toxin. It is not only applicable to the mastitis but also to the supplementary treatment of amygdalitis, cholecystitis, conjunctivitis, etc. It can be taken at will.
2) Lily Flower and Pig Feet Soup
Ingredients: Fresh lily flower 15g or dry lily flower 24g, one pig feet.
Process: Cook all the ingredients for the soup.
It is helpful to clear away heat, dispel swellings, activate collaterals and promote the secretion of milk. It is applicable to the treatment of mastitis and the inhibited secretion of milk.
Eat the meat and drink the soup; to be taken once daily for 3-4 days; it is applicable to be taken in the morning and night of winter with an empty stomach.
3) Dandelion and Honeysuckle Soup
Take 30g of dandelion and caulis lonicerae respectively to decoct in moderate water and yellow wine for the thick decoction; to be taken in twice a day.
4) Honeycomb and Herba Violae Soup
Take 10g of honeycomb, 50g of dandelion, 20g of herba violae and moderate white sugar to decoct in water for the soup. To be taken once daily for 3-5 days
5) Stewed Daylily with Lean Meat
Take 25g of daylily and moderate lean meat to stew for the dish; to be taken for several days continuously; besides, pound moderate daylily into a paste and apply it on the effected area. 6) Rape Juice
Take moderate rape to cook or pound for the juice; to be taken a small cup with warm water a day and three times a day; or pound the rape into a paste and apply it on the effected area and change it three times a day. It is helpful to dispel the blood stasis and remove the swelling and is applicable to the acute mastitis.
7) Crab Shell Powder
Take five crab shells, bake with low fire and grind into fine powder; to be taken with boiling water or wine; or take a fresh crab and pound it into paste; to be taken with the yellow wine; it is applicable to the mastitis.
8) Cooked Frog with Fresh Feather Cockscomb Inflorescence
Ingredients:
Fresh feather cockscomb inflorescence, 600g of rear leg of frog, 75g of ham, 100g of winter bamboo shoots, 300g of rape moss, 100g of chicken soup, 25g of shallot, 10g of ginger and moderate lard, salt, white sugar, monosodium glutamate, pepper, cooking wine, corn powder, sesame oil and watery starch. Process:
Rinse feather cockscomb inflorescence and cut into grains; cut the winter bamboo shoots and ham into chunks, 1 millimeter wide and 3-4 centimeters long; fill each into the frog legs respectively and apply a thin layer of corn powder on it; scald it in the boiling water and take out to drain the water; blend the seasonings with the chicken soup for sauce; cook the frog leg with the feather cockscomb inflorescence and seasonings; later add in the sauce and lard.
