Yang heel vessel
Yang heel vessel diverges from Shenmai acupoint of bladder meridian, ascends along posterior aspect of lateral malleolus to lateral side of lower limb then passes superior iliac spine to lower side of rib and keeps ascending from lower side of rib, it passes lateral side of shoulder and ascends shoulder to Jianyu acupoint then starts from Jianyu acupoint along Jugu acupoint to both side of anterior neck. Ascending along mandible to eye at lateral side of angle of mouth and running obliquely to inner canthus, it crosses bladder meridian of foot-taiyang. Ascending from inner canthus and running around side of head then descending to Fengchi acupoint; it enters from Acupuncture Single Point Fengchi to intracalvarium and is distributed in brain.

There are eight meridian and collateral lines encountering Yang heel vessel which include bladder meridian of foot-taiyang, gallbladder meridian, small intestine meridian of hand-taiyang, large intestine meridian of hand-yangming, conception vessel, yang link vessel, stomach meridian and yin heel vessel in distribution lines of Yang heel vessel.

Yang link vessel
Yang link vessel diverges from Jinmen acupoint of bladder meridian then passes inferior side of lateral malleolus and curves around lateral malleolus, it runs upward between bladder meridian of foot-taiyang and gallbladder meridian then goes posterior aspect of shoulder joint and runs obliquely both sides of posterior neck. Two lines combine one below occipital bone and diverge from two lines again at Fengfu (GV 16) acupoint then floats along Fengchi acupoint, it ascends cranial and curves around both sides of corona capitis to superciliary arch of forehead.

There are eight meridian and collateral lines encountering Yang link vessel which include bladder meridian of foot-taiyang, gallbladder meridian, small intestine meridian of hand-taiyang, triple energizer meridian of hand-shaoyang, large intestine meridian of hand-yangming, stomach meridian, governor vessel and yang heel vessel in distribution lines of Yang link vessel.
