365 collaterals are small collaterals which diverge from fourteen meridians and are smaller than twelve divergent collateral s and fifteen collaterals, these small collaterals diverges and are distributed over jacent organism and skin then form cutaneous regions of fourteen meridians and are covered with all over the body, each distribution center of vessels and collaterals is a acupoint and 365 collaterals compose 365 acupoints. Qi and blood of meridian vessels transports to every organism through these small collaterals and returns information of organism to meridian and vessels and viscera and bowels, playing role of mutual transmission, related skin theory of internal organ is on the basis of this theory. Internal organ discharges exhaust gas out of body through these small collaterals, such as smell on patients and playing expelling pathogen role in TCM therapy and absorbs Qi in nature which benefits to organism into body, such as light, ion in the air and essence of Sun and Moon, playing regulation role between human and nature, this regulation function receives control of spigot and educes prophylactic function.

There is no illustration in ancient literature how are 365 collaterals distributed. According to review of distribution acupoints of human body, distribution of meridians and collaterals and methods of histology of human anatomy, forms of distribution are various:

Meridians and collaterals are distributed between interval between muscles, meridians and collaterals diverge from meridian vessel to skin, length of every meridian and collateral is different because of difference of deep and superficial and distribution of distant and near.

Distribution of acupoints of every meridian and collateral is more or less, distances between acupoints are long or short, distribution area of every meridian and collateral on skin is large or small.

Because of relation of anatomical organism and distribution of meridians and collaterals, some vessels and collaterals must transit more organism then can reach skin, such as Hypogastric Crooked Bone, Middle Extreme and Energy Pass are distributed in skin from medial line branch of abdomen, liver meridian, spleen meridian and kidney meridian are distributed over viscera and bowels ascending center line of abdomen, it is incorrect that some diagrams of meridian and acupoint draw liver meridian and spleen meridian here.

Crossing distribution of vessel and collateral and crossing acupoints of human body most are crossing of vessel and collateral except crossing of meridian and collateral, such as Sanyinjiao acupoint, only liver meridian and spleen meridian crosses 8 cun of medial malleolus in textual distribution of three yin meridians of the foot at internal shin, there is no more crossing place of three yin meridians, how is it called Sanyinjiao? Vessel and collateral of three yin meridians should be distributed here. So does crossing of yang meridian of Dazhui acupoint, divergent vessels and collaterals of yang meridians are distributed in Dazhui but not distribution line that main meridian turns to Dazhui then turns back, this mismatches methods of distribution of meridian and collateral and histology, so many diagrams of meridian and acupoint of stomach meridian has only letters but not diagram. Xuanzhong acupoint is a forgotten crossing of three yangs; lines are not easily expressed, so it was not drawn on diagrams of meridian and acupoint.

Divergent distribution of vessel and collateral, this kind of vessel and collateral diverges from main meridian but not distributed on flowing route of vessel and collateral, such as acupoint that stomach passes chest, vessel and collateral diverges from main meridian and runs obliquely then is distributed in midclaricular line. Huizong and Yangjiao acupoints are divergent distribution of vessel and collateral.
