Liver meridian starts from lateral side of big toe and passes between big toe and second toe then passes anterior aspect of medial malleolus and ascends along medial side of tibia to 8 cun of medial malleolus, it intersects behind spleen meridian and passes medial aspect of knee joint and medial side of thigh, branch stem is distributed in genital organ at groin and main trunk penetrates into abdomen.

Liver meridian crosses gallbladder meridian at Ligou (LR 5) acupoint, crosses spleen meridian and kidney meridian at Sanyinjiao acupoint and connects with gallbladder meridian at Dadun (LR 1) acupoint.

Yinlian, Wuli, Yinbao, Ququan, Xiguan, Zhongdu, Ligou, Zhongfeng, Taichong, Xingjian (LR2), Dadun.

Collateral of liver meridian diverges two branches from Ligou acupoint. One branch crosses gallbladder meridian and another branch ascends along the regular meridian to groin and is distributed in genitalia.
Distribution lines of divergent collateral of liver meridian of foot-jueyin:
Divergent collateral of liver meridian diverges from Taichong acupoint and ascends along the regular meridian to groin then emerges two branches. One branch crosses gallbladder meridian and another branch ascends to abdomen.
