1) Honey
Many people have found that using natural honey as a home remedy for infection is a very effective cure.  This is especially helpful when treating a wound that has been infected with a staph infection.  Honey is helpful because it adds hydrogen peroxide onto the wound and this works as a natural antiseptic by killing bacteria.  Simply use a clean cotton ball and apply honey directly to an infected wound.  Then cover the wound with gauze to keep the original infection at bay and to keep new bacteria out of the wound.  This is a wonderful natural home remedy for infection.

2) Bacon Slices
After stepping on glass as a child, I remember my parents wrapping my foot with raw bacon slices. This is actually an very effective natural remedy for infection.  While it's odd, it does work very well.  Be sure to clean the area after removing the raw bacon (keep it dry and clean!).  This will allow the wound to heal quickly and will also clear up any infection.  This is one of the best natural treatments for infection.

3) Bread & Milk
One of the best natural cures for infection can be messy and somewhat tricky, but I have found that it works very well.  This natural remedy for infection will actually draw the infection out of your body. I used this once when I was bitten by a dog and had such a horrible infection, that I was unable to properly walk on the affected leg.  To use this amazing home remedy, simply take a plastic Ziploc bag and cut a hole that is large enough to fit around the affected area.  Use duct tape or another strong type of tape to affix the bag around the wound, with the bag sealed at the top.  Next, place a few slices of bread, enough whole milk to cover and soak the bread and some ground flax seed into the bag.  Once the bag is securely re-sealed, knead the mixture well and allow it to become fully incorporated.  Once the mixture is fully mixed, allow the bag to sit on the infected wound.  This will draw the infection out of your body.  I allowed mine to stay on my wound overnight.  In the morning, simply remove the bag and clean the area thoroughly.  This can be repeated until the infection is gone.  This will only work if there's actually an open wound, or an opening on the wound to allow the infection to drain.  If not, then you can take a sterilized needle and pierce the skin to allow a place for the infection to drain out of the body.
 
4) Tea Bag Natural Infection Home Remedy
After surgery, I found that one of my incisions became infected.  Not only was it swollen, but it was inflamed and painful.  To help remedy this, I didn't want to take additional medications and cause my body to have to digest more antibiotics and other medications.  Instead, I decided to spread some Smile's Prid Salve and alum on the wound.  After that was evenly spread over the infected area, I placed a tea bag on top .  Any type of tea will do, but I try to stay away from overly processed or any teas that aren't 100% organic.  I then wrapped the entire area in Saran Wrap and allowed it to set overnight.  In the morning, I unwrapped the wound and wiped the area with tea bags throughout the next day.  I found that this cleared up the infection quickly.  This has proven to be a wonderful natural remedy for infection.
