1) Apple Cider Vinegar
Dermatitis has been bothering me for a few months now. I tried a number of the creams that were prescribed by several doctors but none of them worked. Then I came across some information about using apple cider vinegar where you put it directly on the area. Let it soak in for a while and then wash it away. Also I have two tablespoons of this vinegar every morning and night mixed into a cup of water. I am also using it as a cleanser on my face. My hands have completely healed up and my face is as clear as it has been in a long time. I am blown away at how good this worked!
2) Omega 3 Fatty Acids
The most potent natural remedy for dermatitis I have ever used is to take fish oil everyday. This works from the inside so you have to be patient with it. Nothing you put on from the outside is going to ever work because the problem comes from the inside. Omega 3 fatty acids will heal your dermatitis. Also you can use flax seed oil or primrose oil.

3) Colloidal Oatmeal
For soothing my dermatitis I take oatmeal baths as a natural remedy. You can buy a product called Aveeno which is oatmeal ground up really fine so you can put it in your bath or make a paste to put on your spots. Put two cups of this in your bath.
Maybe the best natural treatment for dermatitis is prevention. Israeli researchers analyzed a number of clinical studies and found compelling evidence that breastfeeding children the first 3 months of their lives can protect them from developing the condition when the mother has the condition.
During childhood, food allergies can have a very significant role in whether or not dermatitis develops. The two are very interrelated. Before age six, you can be mindful of an infant’s food to help with this. Some of the biggest allergic offenders are cow’s milk, eggs and orange juice. Milk is the worst and can also cause serious auto-immune disease problems. The milk protein casein is foreign and if the child develops leaky gut syndrome, these proteins will spill into the blood stream where they set up the auto-immune disease response. This can surface in dermatitis (eczema), type 1 diabetes, ulcerative colitis, lupus and other similar auto-immune diseases.
A great natural treatment for dermatitis is to increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids. You can get this from cold water fish along with mercury and other contamanents so the best source is from flax seed. Take flax seed oil. Omega-3s work to prevent allergic reactions and inflammation and both of these are implicated in eczema (atropic dermatitis). Also you can drink tea made from Oregon grape root which you can get in health food stores. It is noted for its antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine activity. Put a tablespoon of the dried root in a cup of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Drink this each morning before eating. You can add some peppermint tea to help the flavor. Herbal doctors say this natural remedy for dermatitis may take a year or more but sometimes as little as three months to begin to show its positive effect.
