For the patients with anemia involving the spleen, the disease is marked by poor appetite, lassitude, hypodynamia, short breath without the desire for speaking in addition to sallow complexion, pale lips, mouth, mucous membrane and nails; for the patients with anemia involving the heart, the manifestations include palpitation, insomnia, night sweat, dysphoria with feverish chest, palms and soles; for the patients with anemia involving the liver and kidney, pale lips and mouth, aversion to cold, cold limbs, edema and chronic diarrhea.
