Authoritative Essentials of Diet
Yin shan zheng yao was compiled jointly by Husihui, a Mongol imperial dietitian, and the high-ranking Han official Pu Lanxi, and printed in 1330. The book summarizes the dietitian's comprehensive experience of food, nutrition and dietary hygiene while employed in the palace. It is the earliest extant monograph on its subject.
