1) Ingredients: Burnt garden burnet 30g, common bletilla tuber 30g, donkey-hide gelatin 15g, agrimony 15g, crinis trachycarpi 15g.
Grind all the ingredients into fine powder and take 5-10g of it each time; one dose to be taken a day with the cool boiling water. It is helpful to cool blood and stop bleeding. It is applicable to the kinds of disease of stomach, duodenum and the chronic gastritis and gastrorrhagia. A good effect can be gained after 1-2 doses and the disease can be treated after 3-5 doses.
2) Take equal amount of rheum officinale and common bletilla tuber and grind them into fine powder; take 3-4.5g of it each time with the warm water; to be taken 3-4 times a day. For the patients with the acute attack of heavy bleeding, the medicine should be taken every two hours; it is helpful to stop bleeding, dispel stasis and produce new blood. It is applicable to haematemesis, melena and treat the hemorrhage of upper digestive tract.
3) Ingredients: Inula britannica chinensis 6g, riddle 12g, pseudo-ginseng 3g, donkey-hide gelatin 15g, charred Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae (Niuxi) 9g, charred lotus root node 15g, agrimony 15g, herba cepbalanoplosis segeti 30g, charred biota leaf 9g, charred couchgrass root 30g, Cape Jasmine Fruit 9g, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata (Shudihuang) 15g.
Process: Decoct the above ingredients in water for taking; one dose a day and to be taken in three times.
It is helpful to calm the adverse-rising energy and cool blood. It is applicable to haematemesis, Hemorrhage of upper gastrointestinal tract with hot blood.
4) Take 30g of herba celiptae and 15g of Buck wheat extract to decoct in water for taking; to be taken in three times a day; it is applicable to the gastrorrhagia.
5) Yunnan Baiyao: It is applicable to reduce phlegm and stop bleeding, promote blood circulation and stop pain. 1g for oral taking each time and to be taken 4 times a day.
6) Radix Notoginseng (Sanqi) powder: 3g for oral taking each time and to be taken three times a day. It is applicable to the bleeding in kinds of areas.
7) Rheum officinale powder: 3g for oral taking each time and to be taken three times a day. It is applicable to the bleeding in all parts of the body.
8) Rhizoma bletillae powder: 6g for oral taking each time and to be taken 2-3 times a day. It is applicable to haematemesis, hematochezia, emptysis due to the injured lung, bleeding due to the incised (metal-inflicted) wound, etc.
9) Wushao powder: to be taken 2-3 times a day. It is applicable to bleeding in the alimentary tract.
10) Shihui powder: 3-6g for oral taking each time and to be taken 2-3 times a day. It is applicable to bleeding due to the blood oozing from the body openings.
