(1) Liver Deficiency due to Wind-heat:
Manifested as blurred vision and hot eyes after long seeing, fatigue, photophobia, headache, distention of eyes, insomnia, dreaminess, red tongue. The patients’ myopia is within 100-300 degrees.
(2) Liver and Gallbladder Damp-heat:
Manifested as distention in eyes and dizziness after long seeing, bitter taste, easy to awake, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating. The patients’ myopia is below 200 degrees.
(3) Heart and Spleen Deficiency:
Manifested as dizziness and pain in eyes, dreaminess and easy to awake, amnesia, palpitation or lusterless complexion, fatigue, poor appetite, pale tongue with white coating. (4) Liver-kidney qi deficiency:
Manifested as blurred vision, dizziness, tinnitus, dry eye, fatigue, red tongue without coating. It mainly seems in patients with prolonged medium myopia and high myopia.
