For healthy eyes:
When you have spent hours in front of your computer screen, and your eyes feel fatigued, using these pressure points to help them relax is one of the best ways to de-stress. One of the most effective points to help beat eye strain is just above your eye brows. Take your index and middle finger, place then together and gently apply pressure on the ridge of your eye brows. You will feel the bone below. Move along the length of your eyebrows, pressing down in circular motions.

The second point is right at the top corner of your eye, just underneath the broadest part of your eyebrows. Using your thumb, gently apply pressure to this point for a few seconds.

Another great point is the area where the third eye is located. This is where Indian women traditionally wear bindis. Using the index finger of your right hand, gently press down on this point using a circular motion to massage the area. Apply pressure like this for a few seconds to find relief from eye strain.

To help your heart stay healthy
Want to keep your heart healthy? Well, you could stimulate a few acupressure points to help keep this vital organ working optimally. One of the easiest points you can stimulate is called the Mind Door. Located at the crease of your hand, just where your palm ends and forearm begins, the Mind Door point is located along the line of your little finger and in a tiny depression on the inner edge of your arm.

Another great point is the Inner gate. Also known as the Heart Protector, this point is present on the palm-side surface of your arm, two thumb spaces below the crease of your wrist. Stimulating this point helps to improve circulation and strengthen the heart.

Also, you could try to stimulate the point known as the Adjoining Valley to help your heart stay healthy. Present on the top surface of your hand, this point lies between your index finger and thumb. To stimulate this point press the fleshy portion between your index finger and thumb with the index finger and thumb of the other hand. This point is known to open up the flow of energy throughout the meridians of the body and increase circulation. However, it is essential to remember that pregnant women should not press this point.

Help your kidneys function better
Your kidneys perform a very important function in your body — removal of toxins. The best way to keep them healthy is to stimulate the KID3 point or the kidney point in your body. Stimulating this point helps detoxify the body and strengthen your kidneys. Present on your foot, in the depression just behind your ankle bone, it is best stimulated with your index finger for a few minutes every day.

For a healthy liver
To stimulate the proper working of the liver and to help keep it healthy, applying pressure to one point is all you need. Known as the Liver Point, this area is present in between your big toe and second toe. Pressing this point actually helps release trapped energies and clears out the meridians. It also helps get rid of toxicity and relieves the symptoms of neuromuscular disorders. Apply pressure on the Liver point for a few minutes on both feet to give your liver that helping hand.

Aids your reproductive system
To strengthen your reproductive system a good point to apply pressure to is the CV6. Present two fingers below the centre of the belly button, this point, when stimulated helps strengthen the reproductive and genitourinary system, increases vitality and opens up important energy meridians.

Gives your immune system a boost
With conditions like the common cold, fever and other communicable diseases doing the rounds, it is essential that you strengthen your immunity by stimulating the immunity boosting point. Present at the back of your leg, just above the crease of your heel, the immunity point, when stimulated helps you feel less sluggish, fatigued and beats depression as well.

Helps beat a headache
Headaches can be extremely annoying and one great way to get rid of them naturally is through acupressure.
The point of the third eye is great spot for headache relief. Present between your eyebrows, all you need to do is press downwards and upwards (towards your hair line) with the pad of your thumb. Do this for a few minutes till you find relief. Another great point is at the back of your head, right at the base of your skull. Once you can feel the base of your skull, place four fingers along the spine and tilt your head backwards. Do this for a few minutes as well, only exerting as much pressure as you are comfortable with. You could also try pressing the soft skin between your thumb and index finger, which also helps with headache relief. Just like this point you also have a corresponding point between your big toe and second toe, which can be stimulated with your index finger for effective relief from a headache.
