Functions:
Warms and stabilizes the Yang (major point for Yang collapse to restore Yang), strengthens the transporting function of the Spleen and Stomach.
Primary Indications:
Borborygmus, abdominal pain, incessant diarrhoea, dysentry.
Tertiary Indications:
Edema with abdominal distension, rectal prolapse, loss of consciousness.
Other Indications:
Dyspepsia, intestinal tuberculosis, Neuraesthenia, emptiness of energy, icy limbs, all acute gynacological disorders, Yin in the abdomen and in the five Zang, the patient hears water flowing in intestines, chronic lesions of the intestines, Convulsions, Epilepsy with opisthotonos.
