Ingredients
Rhizoma Atractylodis (Cangzhu) 500 g,
Radix Aconiti (Chuanwu) 120 g,
Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Houpo) 120 g,
Citrus aurantium (Chenpi) 120 g,
Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao) 120 g,
Amomum (Caoguo) 60 g.
Explanation
Cang Zhu: Drying dampness and invigorating spleen, dispelling wind-dampness.
Hou Po: Inducing Qi to flow downward and relieving distention.
Chuan Wu: Dispelling wind-damp, warming meridians and alleviating pain.
Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.
Chen Pi: Promoting the flow of qi, drying dampness and resolving phlegm.
Cao Guo: Drying dampness and warming middle energizer, dispelling phlegm and checking malaria.
Administration
Decoct 12 g of it with Sheng Jiang 15 g for oral dose to be taken twice.
