Semen Arecae (Binglang) 6 g,
Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Houpo) 3 g,
Amomum (Caoguo) 1.5 g,
Rhizoma Anemarrhenae (Zhimu) 3 g,
Radix Paeoniae Rubra (Chishaoyao) 3 g,
Radix Scutellariae (Huangqin) 3 g,
Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao) 1.5 g.

Explanation
Huang Qin: Purging the stagnated heat.

Hou Po and Cao Guo: Being pungent in taste and drastic in nature, eliminating turbidity, drying dampness, resolving phlegm, regulating the Qi of the middle-Jiao.

Bing Lang: Directing Qi go downwards to relieve its stagnation, promoting the flow of Qi of the lower-Jiao.

Shao Yao: Tonifying blood.

Zhi Mu: Clearing heat, purging fire and nourishing yin.

Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating Qi, regulating the stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.

Administration
Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
