Fragmentary Text of  Topics from Classical Prescriptions
Fragment of JingFang xiaopin.also called xiao pin fang, written by Chen Yanzhi between 454 and 473.Photocopy from Sonkeikaku Library. In the Fang Dynasty, when the Inner Canon was rare, this became as famous a textbook as the Treatise on
Cold Damage Disorders, and was influential in Japan. After the revival of the Han classics in the 11 the century, this book was lost. There are, however, many quotations from it in Arcane Essentials from the Imperial Library (Wai tai mi yao,752) and the Japanese collection Formulas at the heart of Medicine (Iskimpo, 982).(By courtesy of Comprehensive  Institute  of Tokyo  Medicine,Tokyo)
