Kidney meridian starts from inferior side of little toe and runs obliquely sole centre to posterior aspect of medial malleolus; branch stem is distributed in heelstick and ascends from posterior aspect of medial malleolus then goes medial side of gastrocnemius and medial side of popliteal fossa along posterior side of thigh into abdomen.

Kidney meridian emerges yang link vessel at Zhubin (KI 9) acupoint, crosses spleen meridian and liver meridian at Sanyinjiao acupoint, crosses bladder meridian at Dazhong (KI 4) acupoint, emerges yin heel vessel at Zhaohai acupoint and connects with bladder meridian at Zhiyin acupoint.

Yingu (KI 10), Zhubin, Jiaoxin, Fuliu, Zhaohai (KI 6), Shuiquan, Dazhong, Taixi, Rangu, Yongquan.

Collateral of kidney meridian diverges two branches at Dazhong acupoint which is at heelstick. One branch crosses bladder meridian and another branch ascends along the regular meridian into abdomen.
