Purpose:
To compare clinical therapeutic eff ects of elongated needle therapy and Domperidone on non-ulcerative dyspepsia.
Methods:
Eighty-one cases outpatients were randomly divid ed into treatment group (45 cases) and control group (36 cases) which were treated mainly by acupuncture at Zhongwan (CV 12) with elongated needle and oral adminis tration of Domperidone respectively.
Results:
There was a significantly difference in the clinical therapeutic effect between the two grou p (P0.01), the treatment group being superior to the control group.
Conclusion:
Elongated needle therapy is a better therapy for non-ulcerative dyspepsia.
