Indications
Excess syndrome of stroke due to convulsive seizure resulting from attack by pestilent factors or due to convulsion caused by phlegm retention, marked by trismus, obstruction of breath, coma, lock-jaw, and profuse sputum and saliva; including such diseases with the above symptoms as Epilepsy, cerebrovascular accident and craniocerebral trauma.

Ingredients
Fructus Gleditsiae Abnormalis (Zhuyazao),
Herba Asari (Xixin).
The 2 ingredients are in the same amount.

Explanation
Zhu Ya Zao: Being pungent in flavor and warm in nature, removing phlegm for resuscitation.

Xi Xin: Being pungent in flavor and warm in nature, inducing resuscitation through dispersing.

Administration
The 2 ingredients are ground into fine powder and mixed evenly. Small amount of it is blown into the nose to induce sneezing.
