Zhen Sha 30 g,
Rhizoma Atractylodis (Cangzhu) 30 g,
Lv Fan 30 g,
Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Houpo) 30 g,
Citrus aurantium (Chenpi) 30 g,
Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao) 15 g,
Hong Zao,
Massa Medicata Fermentata (Shenqu) 30 g.
Explanation
Da Zao: Tonifying qi, tonifying the spleen, nourishing blood and inducing tranquilization.
Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.
Cang Zhu: Drying dampness and invigorating the spleen, dispelling wind-dampness, releasing exterior.
Ju Pi: Regulating the flow of Qi and the function of the stomach, checking upward adverse flow of Qi to arrest vomiting.
Shen Qu: Promoting digestion and harmonizing the stomach.
Hou Po: Promoting the flow of Qi to subdue distention, drying dampness and removing fullness.
Zhen Sha: Soothing the liver and relieving convulsion.
Lv Fan: Removing toxicity and eliminating dampness, killing parasites and tonifying blood.
Administration
All the drugs except Hong Zao are pounded into fine powder. The powder is made with Hong Zao into pills. 50 pills are taken with rice soup.
Contraindication
Avoid eating mutton, buckwheat and pork during treatment.
