This is a method to treat oculopathy caused by pathogenic wind-heat with the diaphoretic drugs pungent in flavour and cool in property to disperse pathogenic wind-heat. It is applicable to ocular diseases due to exopathic wind-heat with the common symptoms such as sudden onset, itching and pain of eye, edema of eyelid, hyperemia of bulba conjunctiva and star-like nebula of cornea as well as the general symptoms of headache, aversion to cold, fever and a floating-rapid pulse.
