Herbal Therapy
1) Internal Medicine
 
1) Liver-Depression and Qi-Stagnation Syndrome
Therapeutic Methods: Soothe the liver, relieve stagnation, circulate qi and stop pain.
Prescription: Modified Chaihu Shu Gan Powder

2) Qi-Stagnation and Phlegm Accumulation Syndrome
Therapeutic Methods: Soothe the liver, strengthen the spleen, dissolve phlegm and disperse accumulation.
Prescription: Modified Xiao Yao Powder plus Er Chen Decoction.
  
3) Syndrome of Yin Deficiency of the Liver and Kidney
Therapeutic Methods: Nourish the kidney, benefit the liver, dissolve phlegm and disperse accumulation.
Prescription: Modified Liu Wei Dihuang Bolus.

4) Syndrome of Yang Deficiency of the Spleen and Kidney
Therapeutic Methods: Strengthen the spleen, warm the kidney, dissolve phlegm and disperse accumulation.
Prescription: Modified Yang He Decoction.

Syndrome of the Dysfunction of Thoroughfare Vessel and Conception Vessel
Therapeutic Methods: Regulate the Thoroughfare and Conception Vessels, dissolve phlegm and disperse accumulation.
Prescription: Modified Er Xian Decoction plus Si Wu Decoction.

2) External Medicine
1) It is advisable to apply Yang He Jie Ning Ointment mixed with Hei Tui Xiao on the infected area and change the dressing once a week. It is suitable for various syndromes.
  
It is advisable to choose Baijiezi (Semen Sinapis A1bae) 30 g, Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) 20 g, Wangbuliuxing (Semen Vaccariae) 20 g and Rhizoma Cyperi (Xiangfu) 15 g. The above herbs are fried in a wok till they get hot and then packed into a cloth bag after mixed with 5 g salt to iron the location of breast mass, once a day, 30 minutes each time.

(2) Acupoints Massage
Massage methods:
1) Beat the meridians, especially the gallbladder meridians. Beat the meridians with the finger joint from the outside part of the thigh which is below the waist to the area which is above the outside of the ankle; to be taken for 3 minutes at irregular time daily. 

2) Stroking method: The patients keep sitting or lying on their sides to make the breast exposed to the full; firstly, spread some talcum or apply a little paraffin oil on the effected breast; then stroke around the breast with palms along the lactiferous ducts in the direction to the nipple for 50-100 times.

3) Kneading method: Place the hypothenar or thenar eminence of the palm on the effected area with certain strength; then knead it until the lump disappears.

4) Holding method: Hold the effected breast with the right hand with certain strength; the method of holding and relaxing to be taken alternatively; repeat it for 10-15 times; pull the nipple with the left hand for several times to make the lactiferous duct in the nipple enlarged.

5) Oscillation method: Push-press quickly from the effected area in the direction to the nipple with the hypothenar of right hand; repeat it for 3-5 times till a little heat sensation is gained.

(3) Guasha Therapy
1) Acupoints selected:
Neck and Back: Dazhui (GV 14), Shenzhu (GV 12), Geshu (BL17), Ganshu (BL 18), Jianjing (GB 21), Tianzhong (SI 11);
Breast and Abdomen: Danzhong (CV 17), Rugen (ST 18), Wuyi (ST 15);
The Lower Limbs: Zusanli (ST 36), Xuehai (SP 10), Fenglong (ST 40), Taichong (LR 3), Xingjian (LR2), Zulinqi (GB41), Xiaxi (GB43), Sanyinjiao (SP6).

2) Manipulation: Apply the scraping oil on the skin; keep an angle of 45 degree between the scraping board and the skin and scrape the effected area from up to bottom or the outside to inside directly; scrape mainly the Shu-acupoints on the back to dredge the meridians and qi-blood; scrape the effected area repeatedly till the toxin is moved out; the reducing method is taken and 7 times is a course of treatment.

(4) Cupping Therapy
1) Acupoints selected: Jianjing (GB 21), Tianzhong (SI 11), Ganshu (BL 18), Kufang (ST 14), Yingchuang (ST 16), Shanzhong (CV 17), Rugen (ST 18), Qimen (LR 14), Waiguan (TE5), Yanglingquan (GB 34) and Fenglong (ST 40).

2) Cupping methods:
(1) Cupping: you should attach the cups onto the acupoints of Ganshu (BL 18), Shanzhong (CV 17), Tianzhong (SI 11), Jianjing (GB 21) and Waiguan (TE5) after flash of fire, or you can adopt cupping method of air pump.

(2) Acucupping: after disinfecting the acupoints of Ganshu (BL 18), Qimen (LR 14), Rugen (ST 18), Yingchuang (ST 16), Yanglingquan (GB 34) and Fenglong (ST 40), you should use acupuncture needles to prick them and then use moxa for moxibustion for 15 minutes. At last, you should get them cupped on each acupoint for 5-10 minutes.

(3)Venesection of cupping: you should use three-edged needles stab the acupoints of Shanzhong (CV 17), Rugen (ST 18) and Yingchuang (ST 16) for 3-5 times and then adopt cupping to the stabbed areas after flash of fire

(4)Medicinal cupping: you should spread the ginger juice onto the dorsal points of the opposite side of patient as well as Tianzhong (SI 11), Kufang (ST 14), Yingchuang (ST 16), Shanzhong (CV 17) and Rugen (ST 18). Then you should get them cupped.
