External Medicine
(1) Fumigation and washing lotion: 15g of Heshi (Herba Carotae), 15g of Radix Flavescentis (Kushen), 15g of Radix Clematidis (Weilingxian), 12g of Guiwei (carda part of Radix Angelicae Sinensis), 15g of Fructus Cnidii (Shechuangzi) and 10g of Langdu (Radix Euphorbiae Ebracteolatae ) are decocted in 3,000ml of water. After boiling for several times, the residue is removed. The decoction is used to fumigate and wash the pudendum. To improve the effect, the bile of 1 - 2 pig gallbladders can be put into the decoction before washing. This decoction is applicable to the treatment of attack by exogenous dampness and insects. This treatment should not be used if there is pudendal ulceration.
(2) Sitting bathing: 15g of Fructus Cnidii (Shechuangzi), 10g of Pericarpium Zanthoxyli (Huajiao), 10g of Alumen (Mingfan), 15g of Radix Flavescentis (Kushen) and 15g of Radix Stemonae (Baibu) are decocted into decoction for fumigation and then bathing in it. This treatment is applicable to trichomonal vaginitis. If pudendal pruritus is ulcerated, Huajiao (Pericarpium Zanthoxyli) in the prescription should be deleted.
(2) Acupoints Massage
1) Self-massage: Patient use his palms to rub Shenque (CV 8) on the abdomen and from Shangwan (CV 13) to Zhongji (CV3) on the Ren channel, knead and press Dai channel, Zhangmen (LR 13), Qimen (LR 14) with thumbs for one minute respectively, then apply clockwise rubbing manipulation to abdomen with palms for 3-5 minutes.
2) Ask patient to adopt a prone position, the family can massage his bilateral urinary bladder channel on lumbosacral portion, knead and press Shenshu (BL23), Mingmen (GV 4), Yaoyangguan (GV 3), Baihuanshu (BL30). For patients with spleen deficiency, add Pishu (BL20), Weishu (BL21), Zusanli (ST 36), Fenglong (ST 40) to press for 1 minute respectively until a local soreness and distention sensation occurs. For patients with kidney deficiency, add Shenshu (BL23), Mingmen (GV 4), Taixi (KI3), Yongquan (KI 1). For patients with damp toxin accumulation, add Baliao, Ligou (LR 5), Sanyinjiao (SP6), and horizontally rub Du meridian on the lumbosacral portion and bilateral urinary bladder meridian.
(3) Cupping Therapy
1) Acupoints selected: Pishu (BL20), Mingmen, Shenshu (BL23), Baliao, Baihuaishu, Yaoshu, Ciliao (BL32), Daimai, Qihai, Diji (SP8), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
Cupping methods:
a. Cupping: you should use cupping to suck Daimai, Pishu (BL20), Shenshu (BL23), Baihuai, Baliao, Qihai, Sanyinjiao after flash of fire; or you adopt cupping method of air pump to suck the above acupoints.
b. Acucupping: after disinfecting the acupoints of Daimai, Baihuaishu, Ciliao, Qihai, Diji and Sanyinjiao, you should use acupuncture needles to stab them. Then you should get them cupped after flash of fire.
c. Moving cupping: you should move the cup along urinary bladder meridian of du meridian to Yaoshu and from Shenshu of the urinary bladder channel of foot-Taiyang to Ciliao back and forth until the congestion appears and then you should cup the acupoints of Pishu, Shenshu and Ciliao.
(4) Foot Massage
Basic reflection areas: hypophysis, Gley's glands, solar plexus, liver, gall bladder, spleen, kidney, ureter, bladder.
Related reflection areas: stomach, pancreas, duodenum, caecum, ileocecal valve, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, colon sigmoideum, rectum, small intestine, anus, germen.
Symptom reflection areas: thoracic vertebra, lumbar vertebra, sacrum, urethra, vagina, womb, lower abdomen, canalis inguinalis, lymph gland of the upper and lower body.
Foot Massage Manipulation:
(1) Feet bottom reflection areas: Apply digital pressing manipulation with finger tip of the thumb and interphalangeal joint of the forefinger, scraping and pressing manipulation with interphalangeal joint of thumb, scraping manipulation with interphalangeal joint of forefinger, scraping and boxing-scraping manipulation with both interphalangeal joints of thumb and forefinger, pushing, scrubing, box surface-raping manipulation with thumb.
(2) Inner side of feet reflection areas: Apply scraping, pressing manipulation with outboard edge of forefinger, and pushing manipulation with thumb.
(3) Outer side of feet reflection areas: Apply scraping, pressing manipulation with outboard edge of forefinger, and pushing and raping manipulation with thumb.
(4) Feet back reflection areas: Apply digital pressing manipulation with finger tip of the thumb and interphalangeal joint of the forefinger.
Reflexotherapy is taken up of 10-15 times as a course of treatment, 30-40 times each time, 1-2 times each day, repeat it after 1-2 days. Soak both feet with light salt water to recover the sensitivity of feet to massage.
