Acupuncture Point Zuwuli (LR10)
Location:
Supine position; 3 cun vertically below QichongST30 ( Qichong (ST30)) 2 cun lateral to QuguCV2(Qugu (CV2)).

Function:
Removing damp and heat, and regulating the functions of lower jiao.

Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-long adbuctor muscle-short adbuctor muscle-great adductor muscle.
In the superficial layer, there are the anterior cutaneous branches of the femoral nerve and the saphenous vein. In the deep layer, there are the anterior and posterior branches of the obturator nerve, the muscular branches of the deep femoral artery and vein, and the mudcular branches of the medial femoral circumflex artery and vein.

Indications:
Lower abdominal distention and fullness, and retention of urine.

Prescription:
Combined use withAcupuncture Single Point Huantiao for treatment of paraparesis.

Methods:
Insert the needle perpendicularly to 1-2 cun depth; needling response: local numbness and distention; moxibustion: using 3-5 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 10 min.
